Hey Discoverers,
Meissen (Míšeň), some 25 km from Dresden, is the picturesque historical capital of Saxony, the UNESCO World Heritage List applicant and the birthplace of European porcelain.
The main sights include the Albrechtsburg, the oldest castle in Germany, the late gothic Cathedral of our Lady and the Museum of Porcelain.
There are also beautiful winding alleyways of the old town and a charming Christmas market drawing visitors from near and far!

LOGISTICS
Meeting on Saturday at 9:00 at the carpark on the roof of the Main Train Station (near the Sixth car rental). Google maps
We are going to travel by a private bus and the journey time to Meissen is about 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Expected return to the same place by 21:00.
As always, a delay is possible. Don’t plan anything important for after the trip!
What to bring with you
Dress according to the weather forecast. You will spend most of the day outdoors. You need to have a passport or EU identity card with you!
Bring Euros in cash, or withdraw from a cash machine in Meissen.
PRICE: 990 Kč
The price includes bus transportation and myself as your guide and organizer.
