Let’s enjoy the last days of summer in one of the Czech Republic’s most beautiful natural areas. We’ll be hiking in Bohemian Paradise (or Český ráj in Czech), aptly named for its stunning rock formations and beautiful views.

 

On this relaxed trip we are going to visit the icon of Český ráj – the castle ruin Trosky. We’ll climb its “Baba” (old woman) tower and enjoy the panoramatic views of Bohemian Paradise.

 

 

Please note:

The trip will go ahead in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately and pack a raincoat if rain is expected. Read the Cancellation Policy before booking your place(s).

 

 

LOGISTICS

 

We will meet at 9:00 AM in front of the main ticket office at the Prague Main Railway Station.

 

 

The train journey to the trail head takes a little over 2 hours.

 

Lunch

At a nice local restaurant (not included) or bring your own packed lunch.

 

Expected arrival time back in Prague is 18:45.

 

DIFFICULTY: Easy to Medium

(Some 10 km with 200 meters vertical, including a short but steep ascent and descent to and from the Trosky Castle)

 

PRICE: 590 Kč

The price includes round trip train tickets, the admission to the self-guided tour of the Trosky Castle, the route prewalking and myself as your guide and organizer.

 

Children under 16 pay 390 Kč (create a separate order for them an enter ‘child16’ coupon code at the checkout). The trip is suitable for sporty children from 8 years up.
