Hello Discoverers!

 

Let me invite you to a hiking trip to the enchanting Adršpach Rocks.

 

Together with the nearby Teplice Rocks, they form the largest and most impressive labyrinth of sandstone rocks in the Czech Republic and probably in the whole of Europe!

 

You will walk along narrow walkways, up and down stairs and through tunnels between hundreds of bizarre, up to 90 meters tall sandstone towers.

The trip will go ahead in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. Read my Cancellation Policy before booking your place(s)!

 

LOGISTICS

Meeting on Sunday at 8:00 by the Sixt office at the bus parking lot on the roof of the Main Train Station (Praha – Hlavní nádraží).

We will travel by a privately chartered bus. The journey to the trailhead including a service station stop takes about 3 hours.

 

Food

There will be opportunities to buy food and drink at the beginning and at the end of the hike. We will have cca 30 min picnic break at a scenic spot.

 

Expected arrival back to Prague is around 20:00 but a delay is possible. Don’t plan anything important for after the trip!

 

DIFFICULTY: Easy to Medium

(only some 6km/4 miles of walking but up to 250 meters of vertical gain including steep stairs and uneven surfaces)

 

BRING WITH YOU

  • Solid walking shoes/boots with good grip
  • Dress in layers according to the weather forecast for the day. It is going to feel colder in the narrow corridors and crevasses between the rock towers
  • Picnic lunch and snacks (energy bars etc.), and water.

The price includes comfortable transport by a private bus, the admission fee to the Adršpach Rocks and myself as your knowledgeable local guide.
