Hello Discoverers!

I’d like to cordially invite you to my traditional Christmas walk, this year on Christmas Day.

We are going to be discovering interesting places in the west of Prague, between the neighbourhoods of Ruzyně and Břevnov.

The route will include several surprising viewpoints to let your gaze run far.

As usual, there will be (optional) lunch afterwards.

DIFFICULTY: Easy to Medium

Around 8 km/5 miles, on paved and unpaved streets and forest trails. It will be mostly flat with one or two short climbs (in total around 100 meters of vertical gain).

Beware that if it’s under the freezing point on the day, the trail will be slippery at places, if it’s above, we will enjoy some festive mud :)

MEETING TIME & LOCATION

We will meet at 10:15 at the Masaryk Railway Station (Masarykovo nádraží), in the station hall, by the departures board. If you can not find us call me at +420 739 370 212.

Don’t be late, our train leaves at 10:30!

We will take a ride to Praha-Ruzyně on the recently reopened line via Bubeneč. You can also get on the train at Bubeneč, Výstaviště, Dejvice and Nádraží Veleslavín stations (train Os 9874).

The public transportation service is less frequent during the Christmas holidays, make sure to check the journey planner at https://www.dpp.cz/ before leaving your house!
