The route’s description by the event’s host Thomas:
“We’ll arrive by train to Řevnice, the town where the Czech tennis player Martina Navrátilová was born and raised.
The walk will lead us through beautiful woods, and we’ll enjoy a fantastic view of the valley of the river Berounka from the viewpoint in Hvíždinec. If the visibility is good, wet can even spot the roof of Karlštejn castle.
The walk will end in Dobřichovice, where we can swim in the river (even non-swimmers can dip in as it is very shallow) and we’ll have a late lunch in a friendly restaurant close to the train station. We will return to Prague by train as a group.”
What to bring with you: At least 1,5 l of water (!), sun cream, swimwear for the after-hike fun by the river, a snack for an energy boost, good walking shoes (ideally with closed toes to protect your feet from stones).
