Netwalking is networking while walking and talking. Let’s stretch our legs and have a friendly chat!
Every week we walk some 7-8 km in parks and quiet streets of Prague and top-off the walk with a drink or meal in a pub.

Sunday Netwalking from Kolbenova to Žižkov

Hello everyone!
It is supposed to be unseasonally warm on Sunday so let’s go on another walk of discovery!
This time in the east end of Prague.
We will see a formerly dusty industrial quarter in the process of being turned into a “dreamland” with expensive new apartments, lovely parks and culture hubs.
First walking by an abandoned factory hall of the no-longer existing Praga truck maker, we will reach a beautiful new park hugged by the creek of Rokytka.
We’ll then follow the green belt along the river and after some 3 km ascend the Třešňovka hill to enjoy a great view over the eastern portion of the city.
The last third of the trip will take us across “na Balkáně” and the Krejcárek Park to finish in the trendy Žižkov.
As always, I hope you’ll join me for a lunch after the walk :)

MEETING POINT
We will meet at 10:00 am outside of the “Kolbenova” metro B station.
Please allow extra time to get there – public transport is less frequent on Sundays.

DIFFICULTY: Easy to Medium
Close to 10 km mostly on paved and unpaved trails and altogether about 150 vertical meters.
BRING WITH YOU
Comfortable walking shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. An umbrella or raincoat if rain is expected.
