Let’s make the most of the brisk autumn days and go on a hike in the Jizera mountains! In colloquial Czech known as Jizerky, they are located in the Liberec region some 2 hours north of Prague.
We are going to hike in the beech forests which has been since 2021 in UNESCO World Heritage. They are particularly beautiful at this time of the year!
This is a new route which follows the centuries old pilgrimage trail to Hejnice. It is much easier than the one we did in the same area 2 years ago!
DIFFICULTY: Medium
(Good health and physical fitness is necessary)
About 14 km and 350 meters /1000 ft of vertical gain. Mostly on unpaved forest trails.
Sporty kids > 10 years can attend!

LOGISTICS
Meeting on Saturday at 8:30 at the Černý most Bus Station.
The bus and train journey to the starting point of the hike takes about 2 hours.
Expected arrival back at Černý most is at 20:05
PRICE: 690 CZK
The price includes round trip train and bus tickets, trip research including route pre-walking and myself as your knowledgeable local guide.
Children under 16 pay 490 CZK (create a separate order for them an enter ‘child16’ coupon code at the checkout)
Food&drink is not included.
