Hello Discoverers,
let’s escape the summer heat in Prague, try a fun water activity and discover Eastern Bohemia!
When paddleboarding, you stand, knee, sit or lie on a board and use a paddle to propel yourself through the water. It it almost impossible to fall off the paddleboard and it is a fantastic feeling to glide slowly over the surface of the water. With friends around, there is also a good chance to talk.
We’ll ride a quiet stretch of the river Elbe in Eastern Bohemia. We picked this area because the river flows here through the tranquil countryside and the water is clean and (relatively) warm, making it ideal for a refreshing swim.
And, you will finish the paddleboard ride close to the center of Pardubice, conveniently for a sightseeing stroll around its beautiful old town.
LOGISTICS & PLAN OF THE DAY
We will meet at 9:30 am at Prague Main Station (at our usual place in front of the ticket office, see the photo below).
The train ride to Pardubice takes about an hour, and then another 20 min by bus to the riverside.
We will paddle board for some 2 to 3 hours and then do a bit of sightseeing in the old town of Pardubice. We will top off the day with dinner in a nice local restaurant.
You should arrive back at Prague Main Train Station by 9:00 pm.
What to bring with you
Swim wear, sun cream, hat, water and a snack/packed lunch.

The price includes round-trip train fare, bus to the starting point, paddleboard rent, guiding and organization
Children under 16 accompanied by adult pay 650Kč! (create a separate order for them an enter ‘child16’ coupon code at the checkout)
