Hey Discoverers!
I would like to open the season in my beloved Český kras (aka Bohemian Karst in English), a remarkable landscape of limestone rocks, deciduous forest and canyon-like valleys south-west of Prague.
Unlike the hike last year, this time we will ascent the cliff above the village of Svatý Jan pod Skalou!
And since not only nature and culture feeds the man, there will be a pleasant refreshment stop at the end of the hike!
LOGISTICS
We will meet in the departure hall of Smíchovské nádraží (Prague – Smíchov train station) at 10:20 on Sunday morning.

We should be back in Prague by 18:00.
DIFFICULTY: Medium
About 11 km, mostly on unpaved and potentially muddy forest trails. One steep ascent and descent of about 150 vertical meters (for the lookout of course!)
What to bring with you
- Comfortable walking shoes with good grip
- An umbrella or raincoat if rain is expected.
- Water & snack
The trip is suitable for dogs. Make sure to buy a separate train ticket for your dog and have it muzzled on the train!

Includes round trip train fare, the organization and planning and myself as your knowledgeable local guide.
